- Three J Productions,LLC is a Connecticut based visual arts entertainment company founded by film producer, writer and publisher Carl Herring Jr. In 1996 the company published its first book, The Enforcers Limited Edition Zero Issue with Tod Smith of DC and Marvel Comics fame handling the artwork from a story written by Carl Herring Jr. After a short absence from the comic book industry, the company returned with new publications and introduced several new characters into the 3JP Comics universe. Characters like western hero Jonas McCabe (TM) Bounty Hunter of the old west. Modern crime adventures from the FBI duo of Chase and Hunt (TM), plus the daring deeds of the super heroic master of the martial arts, Black Tao (TM), these are just a small sample of Three J Productions, LLC's list of intellectual properties. In the late 2000's in an effort to expand the company, Carl Herring Jr. began producing indie film projects as a way to connect with filmmakers whose talents will be the catalyst to help launch 3JP's characters from the comic book pages to the big screen.
